Word Nerds Book Study and a Giveaway!

Happy Saturday!  I don't know about you, but I'm loving summer.  The end of the school year is bittersweet, but one week in, and I'm happy to be home with my sweet babies every day.  They are loud and messy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Next month, I will be hosting a book study on one of my favorite books, Word Nerds.  I'm sure you've heard of this book, but I am excited to learn even more about vocabulary instruction.  Let's face it, vocabulary can be taught in either a highly engaging way, or in a really boring way.  I'll be the first to admit that I have not been highly engaging in teaching vocabulary over the course of my career.  Over the years, I've definitely gotten better, but this book has changed the way I look at it.  I'm excited for you to share in this journey and put a new life into your vocabulary instruction for your students.
